The Bolshoi Brothers: A New Chapter in Music History

In the world of music, reunions are always exciting, but few are as anticipated as that of The Bolshoi Brothers. Comprised of Trevor Tanner and Paul Clark, original members of the iconic 80s band The Bolshoi, this duo is back with a bang. Their latest single, “Just a Girl,” is a tantalizing preview of their self-titled debut album, set to release on March 21, 2025.

A Reunion Born in Lockdown

The Bolshoi Brothers’ reunion is a testament to the power of music to transcend time and distance. Despite being separated by thousands of miles—Trevor in Florida and Paul in Seattle—they collaborated remotely during the Covid lockdowns. This unique process allowed them to tap into their creative synergy once again.

Paul Clark reflects on the experience:

“Working with Trevor again after a significant hiatus was akin to find a little gate behind the bushes at the end of the garden that leads into a whole new world. Within days of passing rough musical ideas back and forth, we were making great music again, created at a time when the world was in lockdown, with a pandemic and all that comes with it, creating fear and confusion.”

Trevor Tanner shares his perspective on their collaboration:

“Paul and I did not even set foot in the same room during the whole of the recording and mixing process, but the result is a surprisingly cohesive and powerful collection of intense songs. It was really exciting to work with Paul again and I think his hard work and genius talent really shines here. This is not an exercise in nostalgia however, it is a brand new project with obvious nods to our respective past, but a distinctive and sincere approach, resulting in a unique if slightly skewed musical identity, which I think is very relevant in these present days.”

“Just a Girl” – A Glimpse into the Future

The single “Just a Girl” is now available on all major streaming platforms, accompanied by a striking black and white video featuring Nova Clark as “The Girl.” This release marks a new chapter in The Bolshoi Brothers’ musical journey, blending nostalgic elements with a fresh, contemporary sound.
