Grew up in the 80’s and early 90’s. When this song came out in the early 00’s we did laugh it off as new kids rock. Funny thing is those kids were waking us up with songs like this like we did the generation before with party rock like “Talk Dirty to Me” so I guess it’s fair. At 48 I like the song now. It has great energy and is so much better than the shit that all sounds the same today. But to the generation that woke me up, my kids are doing it to you now…..it’s not that bad. Let the kids have fun.
