  • I picked up this record along with Ritual's "Kangaroo Court" for a mere 50 p each in a bargain section about twenty-seven (!) years ago. Both records are of their time (early '80s) but hold up very well today in terms of creativity. The lyrics and atmospheres slot perfectly into the early "goth" mould – "regiments of tainted angels" etc. – which is probably not surprising, seeing as the members of In Excelsis had already cut their teeth in UK Decay and Ritual, if memory serves me correctly. Thank you for posting this here.
