  Birthday Massacre is an underrated band. Their old stuff 2004-2010 were masterpieces.

  One of my favorite bands since this album came out in 2004! You should check out Looking Glass, Red Stars, In the Dark, Superstition, Sleepwalking, and Pins and Needles! Just a few of my favorites. 🐇💜

  Glad you picked up on the 80s vibe! It's definitely a big part of their sound. And Mat may have not connected to the song as much as with "blue" but after a few more listens I think he more than likely will. I hope Adam or someone else will request some songs from the albums after this one like "looking glass" or "in the dark" to show how they evolved throughout years. And if Mat is more into their creepier side then "Lover's end" or "happy birthday" would be great examples. Also, in case you wonder, the creepy ambience at the end is basically what leads into "blue" because it comes directly after this song on the album. And yes, she has some lovely vocals 😉
