I liked the top three artists!
I listen to visual kei (if you dont know look it up) and I love the gothic aesthetic so much, but I want to find English bands that are like that too. But when I search gothic rock, I think the genre is different from what I'm looking for. Watch this visual kei band called Malice Mizer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pTDicL7iuCk and pls recommend me any bands you know that are at bit more like this.
Several good bands missing, but a good list none-the-less, the best I found in fact. I am not sure Killing Joke fits exactly, but it's my favorite band on the list. Peace.

I love The 69 Eyes
Very good choice of bands and themes. All are to my liking.
And although The 69 Eyes is not a gothic band, it is not a lie that they composed gothic music as is the case of the subject that you expose in this list, which I like. So in that case, the issue is important and not so much the band, I think.

This is real Gothic Rock. Finally i find a video who don't talk abouth Nightwish, Epica, Therion, etc. Good bands, Of simphonic metal, but not gothic.
